A Christmas Advent Story
Snow is falling on Christmas Ever and everyone is quiet. The stars are out, we’re all in bed, but who will visit in the night…?
A Christmas Advent Story is an advent calendar book for kids by Hannah Tolson and Ivy Snow that has been released by Bloomsbury for this Christmas. It’s filled with beautiful festive illustrations and 25 different flaps for you all to open.
The advent calendar book follows the story of a boy, a girl, and their dog as they count down to Christmas.
What we love about this advent calendar book
The illustrations in this book are absolutely beautiful. Small details make all the difference, and in this book, you also follow the story of the sad snowman that makes an appearance throughout (don’t worry, it’s a happy ending!)
The book has 25 different flaps, which are brilliant for little hands. Each flap uncovers a new drawing and a new word. The flaps make it a truly interactive book, which will put a smile on your child’s face time and time again.
Why you need this book
Unlike a chocolate advent calendar, this advent calendar book can be pulled out time and time again. It will really get children excited about Christmas as it has a real festive feel about it.
We’re not saying that you should give up on the chocolate, no way! With this book you can curl up as a family, read together, and share a big bar of chocolate!
