Growing Boolino

Growing Boolino

Today, I would like to share with you great news that will push Boolino’s growth over the next months: In order to develop new products and services both for the Spanish and international markets, this week we have reached agreements with various business angels and strategic partners who have injected the necessary capital to execute our growth strategy. From deep of my heart, I would like to thank you for your trust in the Boolino team as well as your commitment with the education of a new generation. I have no doubt, together we will shape the future.

This month, we celebrated the third anniversary of the initial idea of Boolino and of our first blog. Back then at the end of 2011, our vision was to create an online resource for parents, which would allow them to search and discover online the best and most adequate books for their kids, in all formats, paper, eBooks and new digital formats like apps.

Three years later, we are in process of consolidating this idea, offering unique products and services both to parents who want to foster reading their kids’ reading habits and skills as well as to content creators (publishers, authors, illustrators). It has been a fascinating journey so far but we are even more thrilled about the future.

Before this year-end we will launch our new web site with even more functionalities and content, for example the new Boolino Index. In parallel, we will start rolling out our new corporate identity and Boolino brand. Reading is DISCOVERY, IMAGINATION, PLAYFUL LEARNING and FUN… these values have been guiding us while developing this new identity. I hope you will like it as much as we do. And, finally, following the request of foreign users and publishers, we will launch Boolino in the US, UK and Germany.

I invite you to join us creating a better #future for kids through the power of stories, which we like to synthesize in the three words: read, discover, grow.

Have a great weekend!

Yours, Sven
