Terms of Sale at Boolino.co.uk
Purpose and scope
These Terms of Sale regulate the relationship between Boolino, SL (hereinafter BOOLINO) and you (hereinafter the Customer), relating to all purchases made through www.boolino.es (hereinafter the Website), which is owned by BOOLINO, SL (see data here). Our UK VAT number is 222 9134 31.
Terms of Purchase
1. General Conditions for the purchase of products
Orders: To order products on the Website is necessary to connect to the Website, add the products you want to purchase to the shopping cart, according to the indications listed on the screen, fill in the order form and validate it. All prices posted on the Website include VAT and other taxes that may be applicable. On validation of the order, the Customer expressly accepts to have read and accepted these Terms of Sale as part of the contract. Unless proved otherwise, the data recorded by the Website constitute proof of all transactions between BOOLINO and its customers.
By placing your order through the Website and entering your correct email address, you will immediately receive an e-mail confirmation with the data you provided, so that you may detect any errors that can be corrected prior to shipment. If you do not agree with the data provided in the confirmation email, you can request to modify or cancel the order. However, once the shipment is sent, you can not modify any data.
You will be notified by the same means, once the order is shipped so you can track and be ready for receiving it.
We recommend setting the delivery time in the morning (not all localities provide afternoon delivery), and indicate a delivery address where someone will be there who can receive the product (workplace, family address, etc.).
The delivery of orders in UK will be: 24/48 business hours when the requested books are available from stock; or 1-10 business days when we have to ask for some book/s from our distributor (you will be informed when selecting the product). Shipments outside UK are not accepted. The products will be shipped to the shipping address you specified in the order. In case of an order of several items with different availabilities, the deadline for issuing takes into account the latest scheduled delivery. In the event that there is any rupture of stock or unavailability of an article, BOOLINO will contact you immediately and give you a new delivery date or, if it is not possible to send the product, proceed to its cancellation and refund.
Change of shipping address: After sending your order, if want to change the delivery address, you will be charged for the additional shipping.
2. Returned orders
If we send an order and it comes back to our warehouse, you have the option to resubmit payment for a new shipping amount set out in the order, and for this purpose an email will be sent to the address provided by the Customer so that you can make use of this option, informing you of the conditions applicable to reshipping. If the original shipment was for free, the reshipment will cost 2.50 GBP and will be charged as "Shipping and Handling". Alternatively, we will cancel the order and return your money to the same payment card with which you made your purchase, less 5.00 GBP charge for "handling fees".
3. Validity of prices and offers
The products offered on the Website, and their corresponding prices, will be available for purchase while they are in the product catalog displayed on the Website. Prices are those stated on the Website at the time of order and valid except for typos or bugs (especially manifest errors). If at some point there is any involuntary error of this kind, it will be corrected immediately. If there is a typographical error in a price and a client has made a purchase decision based on that error, we will communicate that error immediately and the customer is entitled to cancel the purchase at no cost on their part. Special offers will be duly marked and identified as such, and will display the normal and the offer prices.
BOOLINO reserves the right to make changes to the Website at any time and without notice, as it deems appropriate, thus it can update products, services and prices according to the market demand and pricing.
Payment is made through a payment gateway operated by Banco Sabadell with Redsys or through Paypal, subject to their legal conditions and privacy. We do not keep copies of the card or paypal data. We only store the reference of the purchase, for if we had have to make a refund, or if Customer wants to make subsequent purchases and pay with the same card. Thus we offer more privacy and security for our customers.
If, after having made payment, a book or product is not available, BOOLINO will contact the customer and immediately return payment through your payment method. If you need to claim a refund, please contact: firstname.lastname@example.org.
The purchase procedure, as well as any returns, and the transmission of personal data of the Customer, is made with industry standard guarantee of security and confidentiality, using a secure HTTPS protocol.
6. User Consent
It is understood that the user accepts the conditions set by pressing the button "Finish Purchase".
7. Withdrawal and extra repayment term
Customer has a right of withdrawal (consumer's right to cancel the contract without having to prove any reason) which must take place within fourteen days from the receipt of any shipment, via email to: email@example.com or by telephone to : +34 930 130 130, Monday to Friday, business hours.
Consumers should return the product within fourteen calendar days from indicating their intention to exercise the right of withdrawal to BOOLINO (at the consumer’s cost).
In addition, BOOLINO guarantees customers’ satisfaction on all purchases, so we promise to accept return of products in the following cases:
- If the requested product does not fit your requirements, return will be admitted, however Customer bears the shipping and collection costs, provided that it is performed within the period specified in this section. The product must be in perfect condition, verified once in our store, and we will proceed to refund the amount within 30 days from the return through the same payment method with which the payment was made, so you should include in order to return a note with your full name and details of the purchase order.
- If the product is defective or does not match the request, BOOLINO will accept return and bear the costs of return and substitution shipment; we ask you to include in your return submission details of your full name and purchase order data and the defect.
Products such as sealed (or shrink-wrapped) videos, CD-ROMs, DVDs, books and educational materials cannot be accepted for return or be object of the right of withdrawal if they are returned unsealed.
BOOLINO will not return any amount or reship any goods until it has confirmed receipt of the item being returned or exchanged in our warehouse. The price to be paid back will be the amount originally set out in the order, except for, where appropriate, transport costs. Once the correct state of the returned product is verified, BOOLINO will make repayment of this amount within a maximum period of 14 calendar days from communication of the right of withdrawal by the consumer. Regarding extra period for returns granted by Boolino, the same rule applies but payment will be made withing 30 working days from the exercise of right of return.
If the product is defective, it will be replaced by BOOLINO with an identical one, with shipment at our expense.
Boolino (or, where appropriate, the Editor of publications distributed by Boolino) offers consumers who purchase products and / or services on the Websitesite the legal guarantees provided by applicable law with respect to those products and services, including (without limitation), that they conform to their description and are fit for the purpose for which ordinarily these products / services are intended, and with the usual quality and characteristics that consumers can expect from products of the same type. This warranty has a term of 2 years from the date of delivery of the product or service.
In case of defective products on delivery, the customer must inform Boolino of the same as described in these Terms.
