1. Data files and Purposes of processing
In accordance with the provisions set forth in prevailing data protection legislation, BOOLINO, S.L. (hereinafter "the Owner") hereby informs users (“User/s” or “you, your”) that the your personal data obtained or collected through the website at www.boolino.co.uk (the “Portal”) shall be incorporated in a data file for which the Owner is responsible, and processed by the Owner in its capacity as Data Controller for the following purposes:
- To manage the User registration process and allow Users to establish relationships within the Portal.
- To manage, as appropriate, all the procedures and actions connected to the application and the subscription of products or services offered through the Portal.
- To inform Users through electronic and non-electronic means about the products or services offered by the Owner through the Portal.
- To send contents and information requested by Users.
- To conduct surveys, contests, promotions and research.
- To respond to queries, requests for information, complaints and claims.
Each User, after having read and explicitly accepted the contents of this document and after having successfully completed the User registration process in the Portal, recognises and explicitly accepts the following privacy levels established in the Portal:
- Profile photos and the names of the Portal's Users, along with comments on details about contents, may be viewed by any User of the Portal given that the Portal is an active, dynamic system that displays the different news that are coming about within it in real time.
- In addition, the User's profile, biography, interests or preferences, as well as the contents and links s/he has provided to the Portal, the people s/he follows, the people following him/her and the User's friends may also be viewed by any of the Portal's Users.
- All this information shall be accessible to other Users depending on the privacy levels and constraints the User has set when editing his profile settings.
In addition, other webforms such as the purchase process may require users to provide additional data.
3. Data transfers
The personal data provided to us may be communicated to third parties where the subscription of products or services through the Portal so requires it, because we need to provide your personal data to entities in charge of the products or services' distribution, logistics, collection and billing and, in general terms, to any third parties which need to know your data to make such subscription possible.
Detailed information on said third parties shall be provided, as appropriate, in the specific terms and conditions which apply to the subscription of each product or service.

In this regard, we hereby inform you that if you have not advised us that you do not wish to receive such communications within thirty (30) days since providing us with your data, we shall construe that you have granted your consent to the Owner (or another company in our name) to send you commercial communications by e-mail, except where you inform us otherwise to the e-mail address indicated above.
In addition, in accordance with applicable law, by providing us your email address, you consent to receiving electronic commercial communications from us or from third-party entities involved in the leisure, training and educational, publishing, financial and credit, legal assistance, childcare, food, telecommunications, automotive, consumer goods, health and pharmaceutical product, personal care, information technology, electronics, water, energy, transport, tourism and travel, lottery and games of chance, real estate, toys, clothing and NGO industries.
Likewise, if you do not wish to receive such commercial communications in relation to these sectors (any or all), please inform us by sending an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org, stating "Commercial Communications: sectors" in the subject and please indicate the sectors in relation to which you do not wish to receive any advertising. We hereby inform you that if you have not advised us that you do not wish to receive such communications within thirty (30) days since providing us with your data, we shall construe that you have granted your consent to the Owner (or another company it its name) to send you commercial communications by e-mail, except where you inform us otherwise to the e-mail address indicated above.
5. Warranties regarding user data
Likewise, the User shall inform the Owner of any change that may have occurred to the data thus provided in order to fulfill the duty of ensuring the quality and accuracy of the data. For its part, the Owner shall delete the data once the relationship with the User has come to an end.
6. Security measures to protect confidentiality
In response to your concern for ensuring the security and confidentiality of your data, the Owner has adopted the required security levels to protect personal data and has installed the technical means within its power to avoid the loss, misuse, alteration, unauthorised access to and theft of the personal data provided through the Portal.
7. User’s rights
If you do not wish BOOLINO to process your personal data, you can express your refusal to the processing of your data through the e-mail address email@example.com, stating "Personal data" in the subject. In this regard, we hereby inform you that if you have not informed us thereof within thirty (30) days, it shall be construed in accordance with the current Regulation of the LOPD that you have granted your consent to the processing of your data.
The User's rights of access, rectification, cancellation and objection (A.R.C.O.) are recognized, and may be exercised by sending a letter enclosing the User's National ID Card by post to PRIVACY SERVICE at the Owner's address: Boolino, SL, Travessera de Gràcia, 47-49, 2ª planta, 08021, Barcelona, Spain, or by email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
8. Special Conditions
Certain provisions of this policy may be superseded by the special terms and conditions applicable to determined services contracted by Users. In that case, the special terms of the service will apply.
